Students Raise Money Through 'Penny Wars'
Students in Pulaski High School went above and beyond to help raise more than $1,000 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
The money was raised through an initiative called Pennies for Patients, or “Penny Wars.” Student government advisor Jordan Fahnestock, who helped oversee the initiative, said he was thrilled to see such a great outcome.
“I am very proud of the students for raising these funds for such a deserving cause. They worked hard on this initiative and it’s nice to see their hard work pay off,” said Fahnestock.
In total, $1,200 was donated by the Pulaski High School Student Government to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
