Important Information Regarding the District's Response to COVID-19
April 9, 2020
Dear Parents & Guardians:
I want to assure you that we will continue our very best efforts to mitigate the effects of school closure on our students and families as this crisis continues. I would like to update you on our plans.
Our Continuity of Learning Plan has shifted to online learning for students in grades 4-12. Teachers have been working hard to develop their Google Classroom pages and began teaching new content to students on April 13th. Students who need help with Google Classroom or their chromebook should contact tech support at firstname.lastname@example.org or 315.298.5103. Parents can find information on Google Classroom and other Google education tools at our Google Suite for Education webpage here.
Our Child Nutrition Plan will continue to provide meals to students free of charge. Meals are delivered on Tuesdays each week. If you have not received meals and would like to, please call the Food Service Office at 315.298.5103, extension 5030.
Under our Childcare Plan, we have been working with other school districts, Emergency Management Services, the Oswego County Health Department, Childcare Resource and Referral Agency, and the Office of Family and Child Services to coordinate New York State’s initiative to assure that all health care workers, essential employees, and first responders have prioritized access to quality childcare. Below is a link to a parent survey from the Oswego County Office of Family and Child Services that may assist locating appropriate child care.

Providing for the needs of our students and families is our primary mission, we will continue our work during this crisis diligently. Please do not hesitate to contact us with questions.
