Pulaski Academy and Central School Names Co-Valedictorians and Salutatorian
The Class of 2019 at Pulaski Academy and Central School has named their co-valedictorians and salutatorian. Co-valedictorians are Benjamin Carguello and Daniel Novak and Emma Greulich has been named class salutatorian.
Benjamin, the son of Patrick and Wendy Carguello, will be attending SUNY ESF in the fall to study Biotechnology and Pre-Med. While at Pulaski, Benjamin participated in the New Vision Allied Health Program, served as president of National Honor Society and served in student government where he was class president. He also participated in OCAY League, Envirothon and maple syrup club. Outside of the classroom, Benjamin played in the marching, jazz and concert bands and was a member of the cross country, swimming and track & field teams.
Daniel is the son of Ronald and Katherine Novak will be attending Clarkson University to study engineering. Â Daniel was a member of National Honor Society and student government and participated in OCAY League and Envirothon. He was also a member of Jazz and Marching bands and a member of the cross country, swimming and golf teams.
The class of 2019 salutatorian, Emma Greulich is the daughter of Rose and Andy Greulich. Emma will be attending SUNY Oswego majoring in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages.) During her years at Pulaski, Emma was involved in chorus, including All-County, NYSSMA and Java Jam), Drama Club, Art Club, Envirothon, OCAY League, Leo Club, Amnesty International and Game Club. She was also a member of Art Club where she served as secretary in 10th grade and treasurer in 12th grade. Emma was an active volunteer at Lura Sharp Elementary, Pulaski Public Library, Salmon River Fish Hatchery and participated in Senator Patty Richie’s Christmas Cards for our Troops over the last three years. Emma was also a member of the varsity swim team.
Pulaski Academy and Central School will hold their commencement in the high school gym at Pulaski Middle-Senior High School on Sunday, June 30 beginning at 1:00pm.
