Pulaski Board of Education Meet-the-Candidate Night
The Pulaski High School Student Government is proud to announce that they're hosting a "Pulaski Board of Education Meet-the-Candidate Night"! This will take place on Thursday, May 11th, from 7-8pm in the Pulaski High School auditorium.
Student Government members will be asking questions to BOE candidate members, and would like to invite the public to attend. Students will be learning how to exercise the responsibility of representing their student body, how to organize meaningful public forums, as well as how to ask searching, critical questions that help us all think deeply about outcomes that impact us.
"This event is about our students learning civic responsibility and the idea that the best decisions we make, especially about our leaders, are made in a hopeful, informed community," said Ken Isgar, the high school Student Government advisor.
"Although this is just the beginning of something that hopefully becomes a tradition, we would love for this to grow into a community event. Our hope is that on Thursday we can gather as many families, students, and Pulaski community members as possible."
