Pulaski Student Signs to Play Division I Baseball
For the first time in school history, a positional player from Pulaski High School’s baseball program will be making the jump to the highest level of collegiate competition. Rowen Beattie, a senior at Pulaski High School, recently signed his letter of intent to play Division I baseball at Le Moyne College next year.
Beattie, a catcher, signed his letter of intent in front of dozens of friends, family members, coaches and mentors. Several people spoke at the event, citing Rowen’s hard work, moral values, and desire to compete at the highest level.
“Rowen is a leader,” said Butch Taplin, the head coach of the varsity baseball program at Pulaski. “He is also an incredibly hard worker. He always goes the extra mile and puts in the extra effort to not only make himself better, but to also make everyone around him better.”
