Pulaski Students Attend 36th Annual Conservation Field Day
Selkirk Shores State Park in Pulaski was packed with excited students recently during the 36th annual Oswego County Conservation Field Day.
Hosted by the Oswego County Soil and Water Conservation District, this all-day event aims to educate students about the natural environment around them. Students rotated through various interactive presentations and workshops, all centered around important organisms, biomes, and environments found throughout the state. It was a perfect example of hands-on interactive learning, and smiles could constantly be seen on the faces of many students.
The Conservation Field Day was made possible by the many local volunteers who offered their time and expertise to teach students all about the environments and biomes that can be found throughout Oswego County.
