Pulaski Students Visit Local Orchard
Middle school students at Pulaski Middle-High School enjoyed a field trip to Behling Orchards in Mexico recently, where they were able to learn all about the local apple industry.
Students were able to enjoy a variety of activities, such as apple picking, riding in a hay wagon, and eating fresh apple cider donuts. During the trip, they also learned all about the local apple industry, as well as what kinds of apples are grown at the orchard and what their ideal use is.
“We’d like to thank Behling Orchards for welcoming us and teaching our students so much,” said Brandi Ingersoll, a teacher at Pulaski. “Our kids really enjoy this trip and it’s very beneficial to learn about local industry.”
