Lura Sharp Elementary Holds Alphabet Fashion Show
Learning the alphabet can be a daunting task for a kindergarten student. Lura Sharp Elementary recently held their second annual Alphabet Fashion Show event to help students learn their ABCs in a fun way.
With the entire kindergarten class participating, this event saw more than sixty students dressed up as letters of the alphabet, before walking down a makeshift runway and striking a fun pose. Each student’s outfit consisted of their letter, plus several photos of objects that began with that letter.
“This is our second year holding this event,” said Tracey Leighton, a teacher at Lura Sharp Elementary. “Students and their parents really seem to enjoy it, and it helps our kiddos learn their ABCs in a fun and unique way.”
