Pulaski Art Club Holds Pumpkin Making Event
For the second year in a row, the Pulaski High School Art Club held their Pumpkin Making fundraiser. This event supports the Art Club, and allows staff to participate in two fun nights of crafts, centered around the fall season.
Starting with just balls of clay, staff members were able to form and create their own pumpkins. From there, the pumpkins were then glazed, fired in a kiln, and ready to be taken home for members of the fundraiser to enjoy.
The fundraiser was open to any Pulaski faculty and staff, as well as their families or friends. This fundraiser benefits the art club and helps them to purchase supplies for the school year.
“Last year, we had many staff members express their interest in creating ceramic pumpkins, similar to the ones our students create and display,” said Stacey Walton, the high school art teacher at Pulaski. “We had a great turnout last year and had similar interest this year. We’re very excited to be able to offer this workshop!”
