Whitney Road Brings Music and Inspiration to Pulaski

Students at Pulaski Middle-Senior High School received a valuable musical experience recently when local band Whitney Road visited the school for a day of workshops, lessons, and a live performance.

The three-member band, which includes longtime Pulaski teacher Jack Jennings, led several music-focused sessions throughout the day. Workshops included a solo masterclass, a guitar and songwriting clinic, a choral masterclass, and an introduction to recording and sound engineering.

“These workshops gave our students an incredible opportunity to learn directly from working musicians,” said Aimee Mumford, the chorus teacher at the Middle-Senior high school. “We cannot thank Whitney Road enough for dedicating their time to our students.”

The visit culminated in a live performance in the school auditorium that drew a large crowd of students and staff. The concert showcased Whitney Road’s talent and reinforced the day’s message about the power of music and creative expression.
